Role Purpose
The Head of Distribution will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive distribution, marketing, and sales strategy for our Discretionary Fund Manager (DFM) business. The role is responsible for fostering strong relationships with financial advisers, asset managers, and distribution partners while promoting the business’s investment capabilities and solutions.
This leadership position plays a central role in driving sales growth, brand awareness, and client engagement, ensuring that our distribution strategy supports the overall business objectives and contributes to the long-term success of the DFM.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic plan across all distribution channels
- Lead and empower the distribution team to achieve sales targets and drive net inflows.
- Strengthen the DFM and investment consulting value proposition across LISP platforms.
- Leverage data analytics and technology to enhance efficiency and innovation.
- Build strong relationships with financial advisers and provide tailored support and insights.
- Partner with marketing to deliver impactful events and campaigns that enhance brand presence.
- Represent the business at industry events, panels, and client forums.
- Conduct competitor and trend analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal governance requirements.
- Monitor and report on the impact and effectiveness of the sales and distribution strategy.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Investments, or related field.
- CFP®, CFA Level 1, or equivalent professional qualification (advantageous).
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in the investment or asset management industry, ideally within distribution.
- Strong strategic, leadership, and business development skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain high-level relationships across stakeholders.
