Job Overview:

The Chief Investment Officer will be responsible for overseeing and directing the company’s investment strategies, policies, and processes. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving investment performance, managing risk, and ensuring compliance while providing strong leadership to the team of investment professionals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and executing comprehensive investment strategies aligned with the company’s goals, risk tolerance, and client objectives.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of investment professionals, providing guidance, support, and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Managing and optimising investment portfolios across various asset classes, ensuring consistent performance and risk management.
  • Conducting in-depth market analysis, research, and due diligence to identify investment opportunities and trends.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and regulators, to drive business growth and maintain compliance.
  • Monitoring and assessing the effectiveness of investment policies and procedures, recommending improvements and adjustments as necessary.
  • Staying abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and economic developments to make informed decisions and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborating with other departments such as risk management, legal, and compliance to ensure alignment and adherence to regulations and best practices.


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in a senior investment management role within the Asset Management industry.
  • Extensive experience in portfolio management, asset allocation, and investment analysis across multiple asset classes.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve strategic objectives.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial markets, investment theories, and risk management strategies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. Relevant professional certifications (CFA, CAIA, etc.).
  • Demonstrated integrity, ethical conduct, and commitment to compliance and regulatory standards
